Mike was a victim of violence as a teenager. Without knowing what low self-esteem meant, Mike was well on his way down the scale. Humiliated, embarrassed, and losing his neighborhood friends after this incident left Mike with a sense of helplessness and sadness, the effects today called post traumatic stress syndrome.

Since that time…

Mike has become a martial arts master holding the prestigious rank of Black belt in various styles. A thirty year veteran in the martial arts he teaches people all over the country the strength of mind,  goal setting, courage, and common sense.  Using martial arts skills of indomitable spirit, perseverance and responsibility, Mike has gone on to achieve great success in academics, martial-arts, and motivating himself and others.

With a Bachelors degree in psychology and a Masters degree in school counseling he is an authority on the development of human potential and personal life skills. His martial arts oriented program encompasses the concept of success psychology for assembly participants.

"As a speaker I teach people how to have an "I Can" attitude and
how to establish pride in themselves."
