Dear Mike,

"Your recent presentation on bullying to the teachers of the Ware School district has been characterized by many present as the most significant and
timely that has taken place over the past decade. The next day the schools in our district buzzed with conversations about the ideas that you presented and
how they could be shared with our students in order to improve their physical and emotional safety.

I personally found your presentation to be realistic, relevent and most of all, useful. As an educator of thirty eight years, I was gratified to be able to
expand my "professional toolbox". The very next week I was able to guide and assist parents in distinguishing between aggression and assertiveness i
resolving a bullying issue.

Thanks to the momentum generated by your presentation, plans are in the works to implement a peer support group to prevent bullying here at Ware Middle School.
we may even name them "Bogdanski's Bully Busters! It is the overwhelming hopeof the teachers and administrators in our district that your visit to our
schools will become an annual event."

Thanks So Much,

Robert K. Warren

"Rectory school greatly benefitted from Mike's powerful anti bully assembly. A must hear event."

Dear Mike,

"Following your assembly, and for the next few days, we have had many students come forward that were the bystander or the victim in a bullying situation. I feel that they found some confidence and a "voice" enabling them to come forward to teachers and administration. The assembly feedback from the students was positive and at times during the assembly those 481 students were so intently listening it didn't seem like there was anyone in the room. The breaking of boards/labels was a great finale to the presentation. Feedback from the staff included "the material was relevant to these students and Mike's presentation was "excellent", "great assembly", "well worth the time!", "interesting stories, lively activity".

Thank you again for your excellent presentations to our students and parents.

Sincerely,

Noveline Beltram

Within an hour of hearing your assembly I had a student come to me and ask for help with a bully that has been plaguing him for months. He heard your message of courage and hope. Within days of your visit other students have also come forward to ask for help with bullies. You have helped us get on track to rid our school of bullies.

Mike provided a wonderful presentation on anti-bullying for parents.  His presentation made us feel connected to him as a speaker, since most of us feel as
though we have been bullied in some fashion.  He offered us a question and answer session to discuss our own personal situations.  We will be inviting Mike back
again!

Mike,
Your message to our students was informative and inspiring. Respect has been our mantra here at Michael E. Smith Middle School for the past three
years. Your seminar really drove home what we have set forth as a goal for our students. It is not often that you see two hundred plus students be captivated by a speaker for more that forty minutes.

Mike you are the master of motivation.

“Thank you. I take this to heart and agree about the responsibility of schools to be pro-active. I guess in some respects, bullying is not an issue until it happens to you or your child and then it may be too late.
More superintendents need to take this more seriously and again be proactive with their staff. Thanks again and stay in touch. By the way, things are much better here!!!”

“WOW! Your message was powerful and well received. Your pacing was masterful, transforming 250+ excited and cheering ninth graders to an audience so quiet and keenly listening that you could hear a pin drop.

Overwhelmingly positive."

Dear Mike:

” You managed to hold the attention of approximately 200 sixth graders, who were sitting on a hard gym floor, for an entire hour. That's an amazing feat! Your willingness to share personal anecdotes and experiences allowed students to connect with you and take your message to heart.

Your follow-up meeting with a smaller group of students was just great! You allowed them to express their own experiences with bullying in a very non-threatening way. You had an affirmation for each individual who shared; this made them feel important and valued. The techniques for promoting respect that you shared with this group were simple, easy to learn, and empowering.

The impact of your presentation will be felt for years to come.

Sincerely, Phyliss A. Caci Learning Center Teacher
