Mike Bogdanski is a anti-bully speaker, working with administrators from schools across New England and New York to give their students the confidence they need to stand up to all types of bullies in today’s digital-centric world. Drawing from years of experience as a Martial Arts Grandmaster, and a victim of bullying himself, Mike seeks to prevent other students from falling victim by hosting his Anti-Bully assemblies.

Mike uses the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program, paired along with his over 50 years of martial arts experience, to empower students to be agents of change and stand up to bullies, both at school and online.
- Bullying prevention: Mike’s seminars teach students how to identify bullying, as well as gain the skills needed to know who they should confide in when they spot bullying, either at school or online.

Mike's story
From Mike:
“I was bullied as a kid. My bully’s name was ‘Bub’, and he moved into my neighborhood when I was a teenager. He turned my life into a living hell. It was a martial arts teacher that saved my life, and taught me how to have an ‘I can’ attitude. He gave me the confidence to take myself from being a target for bullies to being an Anti Bully.”
Drawing from the experience he had as a teen, Mike’s goal is to instill the same “I can” attitude in each of the students he works with so that they can be Anti Bullies too.
- Speaking philosophy: Mike’s seminars focus on empowerment, confidence and character building, encouraging students to break through fear, anxiety, and everyday challenges.
- Martial arts background: Mike is a martial arts legend, having practiced and taught Tang Soo Do for over 50 years. Mike’s martial arts background impacts his speaking philosophy and practical skills that he instills in the students he works with.
- Community leadership: Mike serves in his local Putnam CT government, further demonstrating his desire to improve local communities with small, positive impacts. He also has won various awards amongst Northeastern Connecticut business owners for his service to the area for many decades, through owning his martial arts school, participation in the D.A.R.E. program, and more.
